SUMMARY and RECOMMENDATIONS:
Council has expressed an interest in changing the name of the Fireman’s Field Service Tax District, to better reflect the broad purpose of the district. The revenues raised by the tax go to pay for town-wide parks and recreational staff, programming, asset management, grounds maintenance, capital improvements, and debt service on the Fireman’s Field complex. These expenses include Town parades, events, trails, and staffing.

MOTION(S):
I move that Town Council rename the Fireman’s Field Service Tax District to ______________________________, and direct staff to amend the Town Code to reflect this name change, accordingly.
