At the September 27, 2022 Town Council Work Session, Council approved the contents of a survey to be mailed to all residents in the Mayfair Crown subdivision. The purpose of the survey was to get feedback from the residents about the proposed extension of Mayfair Crown Drive as well as the proposed recreational facilities and commuter parking lot. The introduction to the survey included language stating one survey per household would be accepted.
Given the short turnaround time as well as staff time and expenses associated with the mailing, the item was brought back for Council consideration at their October 11, 2022 meeting. At the direction of Council, a postcard containing a QR code to the survey was mailed to all 262 addresses on October 12, 2022. The deadline for submitting the online survey was 3:00 PM on Monday, October 17, 2022.
As of the deadline, 81 surveys had been submitted. After downloading submittal information, 16 addresses had submitted duplicate surveys. As surveys are received with a date and time stamp, staff discarded the second survey received from those 16 addresses, so that input is not considered in the results. The attached results are from 65 addresses in the Mayfair Crown subdivision which represents 23% of the residents in the community.
