As the Council recalls, the Mayor and other members of the Council were suggesting alternatives to the two options presented. Following Friday's call with the Mayor regarding the manager's weekly report, I clarified the Mayor's intent for Option C. Option C would maintain Mayfair Crown Drive in its current configuration with no penetrations (vehicular or pedestrian) to the Field's Farm complex. The Fields Farm complex would only be accessible through 690 (Hillsboro Road) and would terminate at the high school access road affording a three point turn around rather than a cul-de-sac. For emergency secondary access to the Mayfair subdivision, an emergency access would be achieved through the construction of a landscaped block solution, which would be planted with grass giving the appearance of a yard between the two buildings yet suitable for all emergency vehicles, including fire trucks. 

Attached please find the draft survey showing language and illustrations for Options A and B. If the Council is in agreement with the intent of Option C, the illustrations for Option B which are part of the original draft would also work for Option C.
