SUMMARY and RECOMMENDATIONS:
Under Section 2.3 of the Town Charter, during the regular monthly meeting in July each year, the Town Council shall appoint a Vice Mayor to serve in the absence or disability of the Mayor. This appointment is for a one-year term and is usually rotated through Council.

MOTION(S):
I move that the Town Council appoint __________ to serve a one-year term as Vice Mayor with the term expiring on July 1, 2023 or once a new appointment has been made by the Town Council.
