SUMMARY and RECOMMENDATIONS:

BACKGROUND:

At the July 14, 2020 Town Council meeting, Council members were appointed to serve two-year terms on a committee, commission and/or board as follows:

Tree and Environment Sustainability Committee - Council member Grewe

These terms are set to expire on June 30, 2022, which coincided with the last election cycle. Since this time, Town elections were changed to November each year with new Council members being seated January 1.

Council should discuss and consider extending the liaisons terms to coincide with the new election cycle, which begins January 1.
