Closed Meeting

SUMMARY and RECOMMENDATIONS:
The purpose of the closed meeting is to: 1) discuss the performance of an employee of the public body of the Town of Purcellville; 2) discuss a personnel matter.

MOTION(S):

MOTION TO CONVENE A CLOSED MEETING:

As authorized under Section 2.2-3711.A.1., I move that the Town Council convene in a closed meeting to discuss the performance of an employee of the public body of the Town of Purcellville. The following individuals are requested to attend the closed meeting:

  • All Town Council members
  • David Mekarski
  • Sally Hankins
  • Sharon Rauch

 

 

MOTION TO CERTIFY THE CLOSED MEETING:

In accordance with Section §2.2-3712 of the Code of Virginia, I move that Town Council certify to the best of each member’s knowledge, (i) only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements under Virginia Freedom of Information Act; and (ii) only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the closed meeting was convened were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the public body.
