Attached is a copy of the ad on a Public Hearing to be held on April 27, 2021 to receive comments pertaining to the Town’s Tax and Fee changes that are proposed to be effective on July 1, 2021.   The Town is proposing the following changes:

1)  Public Works Equipment Rates: rates charged for reimbursable work performed on behalf of another locality, entity, or individual.

2)  Public Works Administrative and Labor Rates:  labor rates charged for reimbursable work performed on behalf of another locality, entity, or individual. The proposed rates will ensure the Public Works Department recovers 100 percent of its cost for its services.

3)  Public Works Additive Fees:  additive fees as noted in the attached Public Hearing notice.

4) Proposed Right of Way Use Reimbursement Fee:  adds a reimbursement fee for consulting fees incurred by the Town deemed necessary to process the application.  Fee set at actual consulting cost plus a 10% administrative fee to cover indirect costs. 

5) Park & Recreation Pavilion Rental Fee:  establishes fee for use of the Dillon Wood's Pavilion.

6) Proposed New Utility Water Rate Structure: The utility rate structure was proposed in the 2019 Stantec Cost of Service Study and includes an overall 3% water revenue increase.  Out of Town customer usage rates are double the in-Town rates for water.  Proposed Water Administrative Service Fee Rates changed as well.

7) Proposed New Sewer Utility Rate Structure: The utility rate structure was proposed in the 2019 Stantec Cost of Service Study and includes an overall 5% sewer revenue increase.  Out of Town customer usage rates are double the In-Town rates for sewer.

8) Water Meter Fee: fee for new water meters.  Out of Town customer rates are double the In-Town rates.
